My session at Hampton springs i Fished folly and found it Expensive for a small lake and considering there are no specimen fish! hideous rules for vacating meaning one is packing down in the dark!! When I asked about it i was told rather rudely on the phone beforehand that the winter rules would be applicable the following week and even then one would still be packing away in the dark! after a 24/48 hr session i asked on the day if could pay extra to leave later the following day and was charged £15 fullday rate for the sake of 2 hrs more.there are much better fisheries out there better stock less pricey and neater pegs i doubt I'll go back the owners had allowed 2 guys to book the peg I had paid day rate for and the lads were waiting for me to leave I didn't need to be off till evening as I had paid for the day as previously mentioned this could have caused arguments but didn't as they were sound guys A very greedy attitude from fishery management I'll fish elsewhere thankyou in future
My session ended up costing me in excess of 50 pounds for 26 hrs all because of stupid non practical rules

Staff are nice and helpful, never had a bad experience with staff. Fishery is well kept, the carp stock can sometimes be a bit worse for wear but I'm assuming they were original stockies from previous owners.
Will be back for more soon.

This used to be an arrive and fish venue but is now pre-book.
That's a great shame as I've had many low 20s from Folly and 30 plus high singles on the runs water in one day session. The owners were friendly and helpful but under the current system I won't be going back.

Excellent day ticket Cheshire fishery. Went last in February with snow on the ground and frozen lakes, and as I'd booked online, I'd know way of knowing until I got there. Was found somewhere to fish on their match lake, which hadn't frozen and caught a few roach but had bagged loads of different species in summer. Highly recommended.

Overall this is a nice fishery in beautiful location. I fished the Folly which is the specimen lake. I suspect it’s a tricky water, across 48 hours there was little action across the lake on all the pegs. I did land a 24lb common on the last day but fishing was generally hard work but that’s fishing sometimes.
On a negative tone the lake looked like it needed some TLC. The pegs need work, the ground is uneven and muddy and the swims are not properly prepped for bivvies... not what you’d expect from a so called specimen carp water.
And then there’s the price. Now this is a real stick in the mud. It cost £40 for 24 hours fishing (£80 for 48) which to be frank is a complete rip off for a lake with an average stamp of fish no bigger than the 20lb mark. Plus they expect you to only use the baits they sell in the shop 😳
Also they expect you to be packed up and off the bank by 7am which basically means you’re expected to pack up in complete darkness ... madness.
So would I fish here again ... maybe, but only after it’s been improved, the swims need to be flattened out and stoned or wood chipped. They should drop the bait rule and they could do with adding more fish with a few real bangers over 30lb to try and justify the cost. Fact is there are cheaper and better carp waters about.

A very nice looking fishery with an excellent shop. Most of the waters were a little small for my liking but I caught all day, nothing massive but plenty of silver fish. Lots of room around the pegs and lots of features. The 4 star is for the size of most of the waters but no doubt a well managed fishery.

Nice venue and nice friendly guy who comes to collect money but the lake we where told had up to 30s was producing an average of about 5lb fish, very disappointing.

One of the best commercial fisheries in the cheshire area! A personal favurate with lots of differant lakes for people of differant skill sets. A modest ticket price too.
